The sinking profit ship

Eventually, the general attitude towards the free market system will be as widely negative as today's attitude towards communism is. The failure of a system that relies on exponential consumption growth of finite resources is inevitable. Marketing is of course the core of a "market" system and as long as you can convince people that the solution to systemic problems is to increasingly feed the system that caused those problems, people will continue to support that system up to and often beyond the point at which their very survival is at stake.

Are you a slut?

Anyone who knows me knows that i'm an outspoken advocate for equality of the sexes. What's between your legs does not predetermine your role in society. However, i look at the issue from an objective viewpoint rather than the commonly accepted "victimised woman" view. That view, in my opinion, reinforces the painfully misguided idea that women are inferior.

One structure will contain city sized populations along with all the businesses, utilities and recreational facilities one would expect in a city and they will be able to be built, repaired and expanded relatively quickly and easily. These advanced construction processes will lay the foundations for a very bright future indeed.

The Blame Game

Blame is an attempt to determine who should pay reparations for something that has gone wrong. By sending people to jail we are essentially passing our shared responsibility of social stability on to an individual who can arguably be considered a victim themselves.

Information vs Violence

Don't let Barnaby Jack 's death be in vain. We need a global recall of wireless life sustaining devices like insulin pumps, pacemakers and defibrillators. The software on these devices must be completely open source so that third parties are able to review and patch the inevitable vulnerabilities.
